I always enjoy exploring DTLA. I had to stop by a few hot spots like Acne Studios and my new favorite Formerly Yes. You almost get a sense of peace and serenity as you enter. Also, shout out to Jenna; she is so kind and helpful! If you're looking for amazing minimal decor, I'd make Formerly Yes a must stop!

Which brings me to my next point. First impressions are everything. Whenever I first meet someone, especially if it's planned, I must be on point. At the same time, I don't want to be too dressed up. I want to be "me". I usually always recommend a simple fitted leather jacket because it's such a statement without being too flashy or trying too hard. It's just an All-American staple that looks good with everything. This jacket from Zara fits like a glove and it's perfect for LA weather. I really love the zipper and buckled detailing because of how bad-ass it makes the jacket look, but it's also extremely functional. Chelsea boots are also an easy yet refined piece that will enhance any outfit. I love how the outfit blends together but has certain elements that elevate it as a whole. So let this be a tip: Always be prepared for a first impression; it may lead to a wonderful new possibitly or discovery.
