Paris Fashion Week: Part One
Bonjour à tous
Paris has been an insanely wild ride that nobody could have prepared me for. Although my first time, I felt right at home with the rich culture, architecture and the insanely fashionable locals. This city is so breathtaking and picturesque everywhere you turn.
I know I probably keep saying this, but this city has a grasp on me that I think no other city I’ve visited has. Something about chicness of the people and how it’s vastly different from anywhere I’ve been. Since this is my first fashion week here as well I thought I would commemorate it here at The Louvre. Many of you (I think) don’t know I’m a graphic designer. I graduated with a fine arts degree and studied most, if not all of these paintings in my art history classes. Being here is totally bringing out the overstudied art history nerd in me right now.
With my ensemble I knew that I wanted something that’s easy and manageable to get around in all day, but also has interest. I'm simply wild about this viscose shirt. I've been wearing viscose shirts a lot lately and I love how comfortable they are. I don’t wear a lot of pattern but when I do, it’s usually very simple and understated. This pattern is a happy medium. I didn’t want to be too bold but just enough that the pattern could be visible from far away. I’m really into cropped pants lately as well and thought that a no-frills pair would pair well with the top.
I really wanted to blog about loafers for the longest time. I found these from ASOS online and I seem to wear them at every opportunity I get. I just think the addition of the creep sole makes it so modern.
Paris has been nothing but an inspiration and I cant wait to see what this city has in store for me. Now, I'm ready for the events.
